I am a little over hearing about adjusting to the mighty A-10. Why can't writers just say we are having a problem adjusting to having one sorry excuse for a coach?

It's their "code" for saying that....Thank god for Fordham.

It's one thing for the media to pick against you. Most of those tools just follow the pack because they don't know zilch about the teams they don't cover.

Getting picked 13th by the coaches, and behind Davidson, is a real slap in the face.

The defense is the immediate and frankly unacceptable problem. If we can remedy that the odds increase remarkably that wecan at least have a decent year.

Yep. Davy gets a lot of deserved credit for keeping McKillop, who is a great coach, but we've already made the league switch and know what to expect.

They're in for a rude awakening, playing with Southern Conference talent in a league as deep as the A-10.

Yeah - D has been the biggest drop off/disappointment under Hewitt. Year one of Hewitt at Northeastern is when I really got worried. Offense was fine that game, but in the 2nd half there may as well have been no D. Layup line w/ Hewitt and his team seemingly unable to adjust. It hasn't gotten any better.

Thanks for the explanation, although I seriously doubt that any of the Hewitt defenders left on this board would do so.

Whether or not you are a Hewitt defender, there should be no excuses this season. The expectation should be that the team will play smart, fundamentally-sound basketball for the entire game and continue to improve as the new players acquire more experience.
