So, we are currently tied with UMass for the last slot (in or out of the PIG depending if you are a glass is half full or half empty kind of person). Since we have the head to head advantage with UMass at the moment, we are currently the last team to auto-advance to the second round of the A10 tourney. At the moment, we are only 2 games out of 6th place. Small victories...

Might as well bring this back to the top after a poor showing against SBU

Oh, we are in the PIG for sure. We aren't winning away at UMass. We might win 1 more home game (GW), but that's no guarantee with the way they've been playing. I have a feeling we're losing away to Fordham, too -- last game of the season, not a whole lot to play for -- who cares kind of game for our guys.

I hope we play Fordham in the pig and lose. It'll bring it around full circle! Then we can all meet up to drink and cry.

UMass was being blasted by Davidson by 30 at the half. It’s up to 36 now. And these guys are probably going to finish ahead of us.

As of 1/12/20 we're still in the PIG at 3-8. If we can beat GW, St. Joe's, and Fordham that would get us 6 wins in conference. I don't see us beating Richmond, St. Louis, Dayton, or Duquesne. Will 6-12 be enough?

I feel like XJ was recruited with vcu in mind. He is able to beat their press

I don’t know, but beating vcu is gonna be massive for tiebreakers.

Never say never, but yeah 6-12 or 7-11 if we steal another one is most likely.

As for PIG, was are in competition for UMass. They need 3 wins to make it to 7, just 2 to tie us at 6-12. What is their schedule?

They still have Fordham and LaSalle once each. They’re probably gonna get to 6.

The key for us is beating GW. If we don’t get a split with them, I see a very slim pathway to avoiding the Wednesday games.

Tough. Dayton, St. Louis, vcu, Richmond, Rhode Island. Two easy ones - Fordham and LaSalle.

Getting a bit ahead of myself, but currently Kenpom projects us, GW, and UMass with 6 wins in conference. LaSalle is next with 5, Fordham with 3, and St. Joe's with 2.
,
As has been mentioned by others, we really need to beat GW to avoid the pig. If we do we'll be 2-2 vs UMass and GW, while GW will be 2-1 and UMass will be 1-2 against the other 2 . GW and UMass do not play each other again this year.

If we finish in a 2 way tie with GW, we need to root for (sad to say) vcu to finish ahead of Davidson (who GW beat in multiple ots).
