Please explain.

Their (UNI) NCAA history wasn't as good as I thought it was, actually. Only 3 wins in their history and 1 Final 16. I still don't think a move from UNI to G Mas would make any sense. UNI (like most of the MVC) has a very passionate following.

I submit that our positives outweigh the negatives when it comes to potential: best recruiting area in the country, large undergraduate student population, top 10 media market.

All it takes is one good hire.

As for hiring Ben Jacobsen away from UNI, see my statement above (we don't have the cash nor the cache right now to make that happen). But it has nothing to do with his ability to succeed and grow a national program here as opposed to UNI.

Jacobsen has a deal through 2020, with 25k increases yearly (salary started at 450k). Hes also the most successful coach in their history.

If hes going anywhere its a BCS program, not a lateral move like Mason.

Ain't like he's coming to GMU, but man can Ed Cooley coach. Providence up to 24 in the poll. I had no idea. May have to root for them in the tourney.

Jackson had scored in double figures the past 2 games and had been lighting it up from beyond the arc yet Bozo the Clown only plays him 15 minutes tonight!? WTF.

He could of taken more minutes from Royal and Porter and could of scored more points for us for sure.

I like Trey coming in off the bench for Thompson.... he shouldn't be starting yet. He needs to get bigger ASAP

Scott Cherry and High Point finished their regular season at 22-8 -- Big South regular season co-champ. HP's 3rd straight regular season title.

High Point RS-JR John Brown was the runner-up for Big South POY (he won it last year). He is graduating and may transfer for his graduate year....hmm.

Hopefully that package deal would work out better than our last one did. :vomit:

Nothing is 100%, but I would bet money that it would be. Scott Cherry and Ahmad Dorrsett back at Mason? I will take that in a heart beat. And perhaps even Bill Courtney if he is let go at Cornell. Throw in Lamar Butler and watch donations triple, ticket sales double. C'mon Brad look at all the angles here and do the right thing! Bring our boys home!

Cherry/Ahmad/Lamar/Courtney would be awesome!
