Not Jreish - but my grandfather owned a restaurant and butcher shop in NY (they were German) -- he was certified kosher by the local Hasidic community and the both could make a mean Matzoball soup and latkes. Not to mention the best cut of lamb in the tri-state area.Yes my wife and I (my wife is Jewish) only really eat matzoh ball soup at Passover time.
Damn I am hungry now.
