Last two home games of the season are coming up:
Sat, Oct 25 DAVIDSON *

Fairfax, Va. 7:00 p.m.
Fri, Oct 31 GEORGE WASHINGTON *--Fairfax, Va. 7:00 p.m.

Wildcats are 4-1 on the road and 7-1-3 overall (receiving votes like GMU).

GWU right now is 2-4 on the road and 5-6-1 overall.

Hopefully GMU has some good fan activities set up for both tilts to get fans out for these two important home games.

Final score: Mason 2 - Davidson 1 (OT). Timi Mulgrew had both of the Patriots' goals.

I hope Timi Mulgrew has an opportunity to play at the next level, even if it's at the NASL/USL Pro level...Richmond Kickers perhaps?

If I'm reading the standings correctly, it looks like a win against St. Joes would put us as the number two seed going into the tournament -- URI is 6-0 and is uncatchable by anyone.

Edit: Although looking at it, St. Louis has a game in hand and if they win their last two, they will have 1 more point than us and leap into second place. Their last two games are against URI at home and vcu on the road.

Sounding positive on the at-large chances:

'The George Mason men’s soccer team has increased its national ranking and now has a top-30 RPI according to the NCAA.

Mason entered the College Soccer New Top 30 last week at 27th and has been bumped up to 26th after its 1-0 defeat of George Washington on Friday. The Patriots are also receiving votes in the latest Top Drawer Soccer poll with one regular season game remaining. Mason has been receiving votes in the NSCAA Coaches poll for the past four weeks with new rankings due on Tuesday.'

I think we are a lock right now for NCAA at large, would like a win over St. Joe's and one win in A10 tourny to be absolutely sure (or just win the tournament again)
