That's the WORST. Say hi to "Jimmy the Ñ" for us.stuck in Miami all week
Indeed it is! I’ve been having to explain to my wife all week that I’m here for work! That's the WORST. Say hi to "Jimmy the Ñ" for us.
Yes, but that was their university-wide Giving Day, not just for athletics. Their athletics campaign is currently sitting at $36K.Did vcu really raise $7.7M on their giving day?
One of the last bowl games I covered as a reporter, I was “working” in Miami for 5 days leading up to the Orange Bowl and my wife was at home in the cold by herself with two kids.Indeed it is! I’ve been having to explain to my wife all week that I’m here for work!
Probably doesn’t help that when we facetime I’m sitting in South Beach drinking IPAs…
Donation has been made, and I even trolled them by putting my shirt size in the comments.
We raised so little that not only does Jollay not get to come back, the admins are actually going to re-ban you as well.Do we have an updated report on the giving day results?

And if we weren’t mired in more than a decade of abject mediocrity (at best) … it’s honestly pretty encouraging that people are willing to buy in with the new staff to this extent before they’ve even had an official team practice.I said this on text a few minutes ago but I thought it was worth sharing.
Raising 400k+ in a giving day including 121k+ for mens basketball is pretty good in my opinion for what I feel like Mason athletics has in terms of fanbase interest, etc etc.
I could only imagine what the number would be like if plans weren't top secret all the time. Have to think the number would go up.
