I don't know what this will mean for athletics, but seems like a great hire otherwise. Very accomplished individual who will take Mason the direction it wants/needs to go.

Here's what I propose for Mason:

(1) Find Russell Turner's wife a great local job in her profession;
(2) Work out a deal with Bucknell for Paulsen to voluntarily return to the school; and
(3) Announce Turner as the next head coach.

2 NCAA appearances in 9 years would still be better than what we have currently. He also looks like he brings a lot of winning in conference and overall.

Nothing is imminent so its all moot anyway. Dr Washington doesn’t show up til July 1. He will need time to settle, and we’ll see what Brad does.
