Don't get me started on the ODU game where Coach L once again refused to foul when up by 3. Dahi hit a 3 at the buzzer to tie the game, and we ended up losing by 10 in OT. Ugh!

Didn't he hit that 3 off a bizarre rebound that like rolled to his feet? It was something weird.

That was not a good year...I think we lost to ODU twice by buzzer beaters that year.

That's exactly what happened. He was just standing behind the arc, and the ball got batted out to him. I swear it all went down in slow motion. I remember yelling, "Noooooooooo!"

Believe me, I remember both of those games vividly. Granted, the ODU game was more a fluke play, but you knew we were doomed both times because the other teams has the momentum going into OT.

ODU fans vs. vcu fans isn't even close. I've never seen an ODU fan sucker punch a 70 year old man in a Mason shirt in the back of the head for being "too slow" climbing stairs to leave his seat.

At the CAA tournament one year, we were lined up outside the student entrance at the brown spaceship waiting for the previous game to end so we could enter for a Mason/vcu game. An ODU student stormed out of the exit and shoved the first Mason fan he saw. The Mason fans at the front of the line shoved him back, and then he acted all puffed up and started swinging (and missing) at the people in the front of our line. He got decked and thrown against the door of the brown spaceship. Then his girlfriend ran outside, grabbed him, and dragged him away. By the time security got there (man, were they slow), he was cussing us out from a safe 100 yards away (while his girlfriend begged him to shut up and come with her). It was freaking hilarious.
