2016-17 non-conference win No. 3: Dec. 10 at Penn "Harnessing history in the Cathedral of College Hoops":

http://gomason.com/news/2017/4/4/mens-basketball-non-conference-win-3-dec-10-vs-penn.aspx:

"The Mason sports information staff scrambled to find the Palestra records to see how many triple-doubles had been recorded in the arena’s storied history.

Sadly, no such college records were available.

But regardless, #MasonNation will remember that Saturday afternoon for one of the single greatest individual performances in Mason history."

I was there...that was a seriously fun day.
Guess you'd have to search the histories of all D-1 teams, as they have all played there at some point.

Congrats to @quise_22 on his selection to Portsmouth Invitational. Well deserved. He will crush it!

http://gomason.com/news/2017/4/12/m...ticipate-in-2017-portsmouth-invitational.aspx:

"Moore will suit up for K&D Rounds Landscaping, a team that includes Bronson Koenig (Wisconsin), Kadeem Allen (Arizona) and Zak Irvin (Michigan).

The team's first game is scheduled for Thursday (April 13) at 9 p.m. vs. Sales Systems, Ltd. All games will be streamed on the PIT site.

'We are very excited for Marquise and this outstanding opportunity for him.' head coach Dave Paulsen said. 'The honor is well deserved. I know there were some anxious moments waiting for the invite, but I knew his body of work this year and throughout his career merited his inclusion. I know he's been working tirelessly since the season ended and I'm confident he'll play at a very high level in Portsmouth.'"

Watching some of this game. Moore is defending a backcourt of Bryce Alford of UCLA and Matt Jones of Duke. So much fun watching him play.

Moore's team turned the ball over up 1 on an inbounds play. Matt Jones stole the ball, laid it up. Game over.

"Portsmouth was a great experience. I learned so much about the ins and outs of the NBA and what it takes to play at that level," Moore said. "I learned how to adjust to different defenses and how to recognize different schemes. Having an NBA player, Keith Bogans, as my assistant coach helped a lot. He broke down my game and gave me advice on areas where I can improve."

Here's another reason why @quise_22 and the @MasonMBB team are great for NoVA. Serving the homeless dinner. #classy

Welcome to A10 Talk’s Top 25 Player Countdown. Each day, we publish a new article counting down the 25 best players in the Atlantic 10 this past season. Today, we continue our countdown with #7 Marquise Moore.

How does a player who averaged a double-double not make Atlantic 10 First Team? Good question. Moore got absolutely snubbed. Marquise Moore was one of the best players in the Atlantic 10 this past season; had his team not finished 7th in the league, he would’ve had a great shot at being A-10 Player of the Year. A beast on the boards and scorching the nets all season, Marquise Moore helped revitalized this George Mason team to get it moving in the right direction. The Patriots were not one of the bottom-feeders in the league last year. Because of Moore, George Mason had a legitimate shot at finishing Top 4 in the league.

Hopefully, Marquise will someday be inducted into his school's Athletics Hall of Fame as his father has in his:

Looks like Marquise got his first g-League action last night. Box score here:
http://gleague.nba.com/games/20171115/SBLIWA/

Just thought to throw in a quick update on Marquise in the G-League. Looks like he's playing behind Melo Trimble right now (Marquise only played 6 minutes off the bench in their last game). He's averaging 5.6 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game.
