The one facet of Marquise's game that I believe is most overlooked is his shot blocking ability. Here is a comparison of Marquise's career blocked shots with former Mason guards (all of whom are taller than Marquise) who were proficient shot blockers while I've been a season ticket holder:

Marquise Moore - 73 (110 games)
Folarin Campbell - 58 (130 games)
Rob Anderson - 52 (105 games)
Erik Herring - 48 (107 games)
Gabe Norwood - 47 (126 games)

I wonder if he'll get any calls from NFL agents/teams. I'm no scout, and not that big of a football fan, but my guess is his size, strength, speed, quickness, and skills as a PG would make him a pretty good defensive back or receiver.

Does he run a 4.4?

With 7 rebounds in the 83-74 loss to GW this afternoon, Marquise has 300 rebounds this season. This ties Mason Athletic Hall of Famer Rudolph Jones for the 8th most rebounds in a season by a Mason men's player:

1. Will Thomas (2007-08) - 353
2. Shevon Thompson (2014-15) - 351
3. Kenny Sanders (1987-88) - 339
4. Shevon Thompson (2015-16) - 329
5. Kenny Sanders (1988-89) - 326
6. Jim Nowers (1973-74) - 318
7. Byron Tucker (1990-91) - 314
8. Marquise Moore (2016-17) - 300
Rudolph Jones (1971-72) - 300

Getting to 6th place is very realistic. We have at least 3 more games. If we win a game in the A10T getting as high as 4 is a possibility.

He averages 10 a game. I wouldn't be surprised if he's in 3rd place only behind Will Thomas and Shevon Thompson by the end of this season.

Depending on how many games we get, I think that is a possibility. I say lets go to the Final Four again and he breaks all those records!

Marquise has 352 career assists, and needs just 4 more to tie Cam Long for 6th place at Mason:

1. Curtis McCants - 598
2. Myron Contee - 411
3. Ricky Wilson - 405
4. Folarin Campbell - 392
5. Bryon Allen - 380
6. Cam Long - 356
7. Marquise Moore - 352
8. John Niehoff - 331
9. Steve Smith - 329
10. Mike Hargett - 312
11. Tremaine Price - 308

And, barring unforeseen circumstances, Marquise will start tonight for the 104th time in his career. This will tie Ricky Wilson, Carlos Yates, & Robert Dykes for 4th place at Mason.
