George Mason transfer Isaiah Jackson is headed to Providence. Said he also considered Houston and Central Florida at the end.

http://www.scout.com/college/providence/forums/1323-friar-talk/13956561-isaiah-jackson-to-providence:

"He had some high major interest (Florida and Big 12 schools) until he had a leg injury during his senior year, which was slow to heal. Once he got healthy early last year, he averaged about 13 ppg. I remember during the URI game they were very complimentary toward him."

Good for him. He's going to get some good coaching up there.

By comparison, anything would've been an upgrade to the "coaching" he reeceived at Mason.

Too bad DP couldn't have convinced him to stay. With our paucity of SFs, Isaiah would've been in line for many minutes and many shots this season.

But I can't blame a kid for wanting to go somewhere he can win right away instead of wasting away his eligibility with a total rebuilding project.

You wouldn't consider PC an upgrade? Great coach in Cooley and NBE? Wish the young man luck!

I'm not sure why I'm responding to you -- I'd probably derive just as much pleasure from punching myself in the junk with both fists -- but I'd love to know what exactly qualifies Ed Cooley to be considered a "great" coach.

Also, you deserve an enormous "NO SH!T" for your suggestion that Providence is an upgrade for Jackson.

Considering the current state of our program, lots of schools would've been an upgrade. But only a true d!ckhead troll like yourself would feel the need to point that out and rub it in our faces.

Coaching a Fairfield squad that set an NCAA Division I postseason record by overcoming a 27-point halftime deficit to win in overtime over G Mas in the 2010 CLIT to start?

Can't even troll properly. It wasn't a 27 point lead at halftime dumbass....

...it was much worse than that. 27 point lead with 16 minutes to go, 7 point lead with 48 seconds to go. Fairfield hit 4 3's in the basically the final 1:10.

you're still a troll.
