I hate that Al Golden got fired today.
I hate that Miami did this so they can start chasing guys like Greg Schiano and Mario Christobol.
I hate that serious names in Division 1 football today are called "pie in the sky" candidates for Miami. THE...FREAKIN'...U.
I hate that I sense the end of Miami as a serious contender on the national stage ever again.
I hate that the knee I injured last year is killing me with the change in weather.
I hate that an elderly lady in my building has an expired state vehicle inspection sticker...from May 2015...and none of her local kids/relatives bother to check in on any of this.
I hate that another neighbor (not active duty military) has had Illinois tags for several years now, thereby avoiding King George III's personal property tax.

I hate (not really) it for JMU fans that on the biggest day in the history of JMU (their crazy fans' perspective, not mine), where they had the entire world watching (again, their crazy, delusional fans' perspective, not mine), where the Big Ten and the ACC would be getting into a bidding war over which BCS conference the Dukes would be joining (again, you get it), they f*cking lost to Richmond.

Yep; I hate that another neighbor pulled the same stunt with Pennsylvania tags in order to maintain in- state tuition for her son at Penn State. (no doubt registered to Grandma's house as his "residence").

You hate that Golden was fired?! I hate that he needed to be fired, but he definitely needed to go. Really hope we don't get Schiano, Cristobol, Chud, etc. I'd have mixed feelings about Butch but am hoping we get Herman or Fuentes (Houston, Memphis coaches).

No, I didn't word that well. I hate that he was fired mid-season if all we are going to do is chase after lower tier out of work candidates. And the Herald is also listing some serious dinosaurs as well, such as Mike Shula, give me a break. I pretty much knew Golden was on the bubble big time and the humiliating performance against Clemson sealed the deal. I read that folks in the administration roll their eyes at Butch Davis, but I don't think he was ultimately linked to the mess at UNC and he is a master at finding diamonds in the rough recruiting wise. I guess guilt by association with academic scandal will ultimately rule him out. The candidates you mention sound promising, mid major coaches who have had Top 25 success.

I hate that we just don't split the difference at 1/2 hour and forget the whole spring forward/fall back routine.
I hate that I've read several studies that say this is about agriculture, while some argue that it is about retail sales...we live in the era of modern technology, so yes, there is no need for this. But on and on it goes.

I hate that Duke cries about the officiating in a game where 5 penalties were called against them and a record 23 against their opponent, in addition to having a game ending interception overturned, 2 more phantom pass interference penalties and scoring a TD without putting the ball across the goal line.

I also hate that the ACC suspended the officials for 2 weeks because of Duke's crying.
I hate that Duke's coach is still whining and now wants a procedure to overturn the result of a game.
I hate that he doesn't realize that said procedure should also include a review of Sika's phantom TD.
I hate that at one time, a long time ago, I liked Duke (mostly because Billy King was my hoops coach in junior high school - like I said, a long time ago).
