I hate that you've been sucked into the vortex that is soccer in America. Soccer will never be an American sport. (I think the Premier League is fine and actually can be exciting to watch. But the US soccer I've watched is boring.)

I hate that you don't realize that both basketball and hockey are really Canadian sports masquerading as American sports . I also hate that you didn't realize that I have a personal connect to the MLS and so whether or not is it on par with the Premiership is irrelevant to me.

I hate that you probably think the NBA regular season is actually exciting to watch, when it is anything but.

I also hate that you have been sucked into Euro snobbery, and that if the U.S. was actually better in soccer you wouldn't think this and probably jump on the bandwagon.

I hate that you would think I think the NBA is exciting. I actually would prefer to watch MLS to NBA. Which leads me to ...

I hate the new rules they are considering for college to make the game more like the NBA. So what if a good defense prevents a team from scoring 80 points. Not everyone is a lights out shooter; some are lockdown defenders (or at least I've heard of their existence). PS I enjoyed the 35 - 33 game we won against UNCW. That was some great defense.

I hate that when I see a Premier League game (I travel overseas some and that's on everywhere) it sounds like a party going on with the fans singing, etc., but when I see bits of MLS games as I flip through MASN, Comcast, ESPN, etc., it sounds very quiet, almost like there's no one at the game. It just makes it exciting to have fans into it the whole game. (I will admit the World Cup is a pretty good viewing experience.)

I hate that my nephew's Facebook newsfeed is filled with TJ students wearing t-shirts of their chosen college and not one Mason t-shirt can be found. Also, no JMU, vcu, UR or any other Virginia school other than UVa, Tech and W&M. Mason was his second choice. Need to throw more money at these kids to get them.

I hate that my Arsenal Gunners are stinking up the joint in Champions League.
I hate that Arsenal lost to Dinamo Zagreb (Croatia) and Olympiacos (Greece)...disgusting.
I hate that Ospina (goalkeeper) literally walked the ball into the net off a corner kick for an own goal, which decided the outcome 3-2. I also hate this because I feel bad for Ospina, I think he's a good dude.
I hate that Bayern Munich will probably clobber us.
