Hate ....

I'm in the band and I hate it when we're the only ones with some damn school spirit in the Patriot Center.

I hate my friends and family having to sit through loss after loss.

I hate seeing what Paul Hewitt's done to the program game after game.

I hate that my tuition money's subsidizing his train wreck of a career.

And I hate that none of my friends care about going to the games or following the team.

Fire Hewitt. This man is kryptonite. He's doing nothing for the university.

Fire Paul Hewitt.

I hate that you haven't noticed non-band members who also attend every home game and show "some damn school spirit in the Patriot Center".

That's what it feels like, especially when the student section is empty.

I hate that you haven't noticed the great support by the students this season when they aren't on break:

I hate that when I was in school, you could show up 5 minutes before most games and walk right down to the floor seats in the student section because nobody was there.

I hate that student participation is a million times better than it used to be, but it will be challenging to keep them interested after back-to-back losing seasons.

:middlefinger:I hate this god damn Silverlight!!!!! Hard enough to watch an inconsistent team, but it's terrible when you miss 10 minutes of the game to buffering. Bullshit.

I hate that the band insists on chanting "left-right-left" when an opposing player fouls out, more so when we're down by 10 with a few seconds to go!

Man we picked that up from the UCLA ban in the Final Four when Big Baby fouled out. Thought it was hilarious and kept doing it for many solid years at the Pat Center.

You gotta think, though, that the current band has never known success really, much like the players. There are a few people in the band who were around but shit, even Doc wasn't at the Final Four. It's almost complete turnover. They were yelling "warm up the bus" when we were down 2 in the final minutes of the Princeton game. The kids don't really have much guidance and don't know when to heckle, so they do it at terrible times because otherwise they wouldn't get to heckle at all.

As a guy who used to heckle with the best of them and can't even bring myself to get emotionally involved in the games anymore, it's pretty sad. I hate that.

I hate our students don't have a reason to heckle anyone anymore and when they do it's usually terrible.

I hate that I left the game early last night and felt absolutely no remorse.
