I hate that I can't deny how impressed I am by how organized and enthusiastic vcu fans are. There were some pretty generous donations of $500 and $250, but I hate that it also didn't hurt that Eric Maynor threw in another $1,000.

That said, I hate that I'm a little surprised since vcu is already a lock to make the NCAAT as an at-large that they wouldn't hold off on hitting up donors for another week. Then again, with the way their fan base coming together, they might be able to raise another $14,000 for every game they play moving forward.
