This loss hurt bad but we have nothing to be ashamed about.

vcu repeatedly tried to make this a blowout but this team fought their asses off.

I’ve had more fun watching Mason games this year than in the past 14 years combined.

What an amazing atmosphere today. There are going to be a lot of players who are going to want play for coach Skinn.

Tough loss, played their hearts out. Refs were a joke. The A10 league at the top is a joke. They didn’t want Mason there.

Tournament mvp was an epic joke. No way it was Clark, gtfoh with that nonsense. Horrible pick. It was max for sure 100% kid won the game but whatever.

Onward and upward! Got a lot of work to do replacing basically the whole starting lineup. Not sure who’s even getting minutes next year outside Austin Ball. O’Connor comes back or not?? Haynes playing somewhere else would really suck but feels like it’s inevitable.

This was a great season no doubt. The guys played their hearts out today and left it all out there. They were a couple of bounces and inches away on the last shot from potentially a different outcome.

Really proud of this team and Coach Skinn.

Regardless of what happens in the portal Tony will find a way to field a very competitive team next year. He’s the right guy for this program 100%.

why would ball leave now? He’s going to go down to what the patriot? He didn’t even play, no one is giving him NIL money and he’s definitely not transferring up? Would be a huge mistake for him and Mason. Haynes I’m sure does want that bag.

O’Connor who knows? He’s also not transferring up but maybe he goes somewhere north? Who knows. O’Connor is solid but not a pg. He should come back.

Thanks for posting this thread. Great season indeed. I’ll post more now that I’m coming out of being overly bummed. But I had an absolute blast this weekend. I’ve never seen mason people cheer like that in years! Just amazing.

I promise I have it on good authority from someone I reconnected with that’s in the know. I promised I wouldn’t give details as it would out them but I feel pretty good about the info. I do hope it’s wrong and an overreaction from the players

Considering who I heard it from...I was stunned...

Well I hope all 8 players return. We’ve got three spots right now to improve the team next year. We need a PG, a 4, and a shooter. If they can hit on all 3 in the transfer portal I think this team can be just as good as this one and maybe finally get to the promised land.

In the meantime, I hope they pick their heads up and make a deep run in the NIT and end the seniors end their career with the honor they deserve. They’ve made us relevant again. Now is the time to seize it.
