I guess this is put to bed now? I assume that triple-taped ankle will keep him from traveling to Brooklyn. Just keep smiling and saying nice things on social media until a quiet exit can be made in a couple weeks?

Not neccesarily...Tony said he needs some decents practices first. Then of coarse, he could triple sprain his other ankle or get bit by a tick.

This whole situation is so strange. It became even stranger yesterday when Tony was interviewed at the half and said he was going to play Keyshawn in the 2nd half. Well that obviously didn't happen. Is he going to play in the tournament? If not, why is he in uniform? To be a decoy that opponents might have to gameplan for? Seems like if the issue was as stated by some "insiders" posting here, then he wouldn't be in uniform and coach wouldn't be saying he was going to play Keyshawn.

Think CTS didn’t play him because he didn’t need to. I’d play it the same way if I were the coach.

I think it’s strange because a bunch of people started rumors in the stands and some other people ran with it. I don’t think anyone knows what’s actually going on except Hall and Skinn.

Not sure how much we can take literally what Skinn is saying. He’s not going to reveal to us what’s going on one way or the other.

I think we should take By George’s (assuming Bryan?) advice and let the process play out and stop commenting one way or the other about it.

I'm in total agreement there. I admit that I was part of the mob when the initial rumors came out.

After taking some time to digest and after watching multiple interviews, especially the one with Hall himself, I think that we, collectively, need to put away the torches and pitchforks.

In the end, Key is a current member of this team, and quite a weapon (remember, only a SOPHOMORE) and has the potential to get much stronger/better as his career progresses.

If he plays, I will wholeheartedly root for him. If he doesn't, I trust that CTS knows what he's doing. I'm done speculating, and/or badmouthing (for now).

Later, we can speculate away and let the dust settle and the chips fall in the off-season. I'd hate to run this guy out of the program when, who knows, he may want to stick around for another year or two.
