Coming off a solid defensive effort to help shut down Santos-Silva and put vcu in a tailspin, Josh is building himself. Also at tonight's GW game, Josh had two, count 'em – two – blocked shots. And strokin' the three-ball with a couple of oooo-so-close misses – 1 for 3 – could have easily been 3 for 3.

Had Mason won the GW game then maybe we'd be a bit more excited. Screw you all (well, some of you)... I am stoked! Yes, watching Josh has me stoked that we have a fairly serviceable big on man on the roster. Get this guy into the gym over the off-season to trim off that baby fat and Dave & Co. may have something here.

Way to go Josh! ............. Ohhhhh...DUROohhhhhh!!

Really excited to see what Josh can develop towards. Hes a big body in the post, smooth around the basket and has a nice jump shot. I'm hopeful to see some pick and pop from him as well.

Once he loses the babyfat and is a little meaner around the basket, I can see a really nice ceiling for him. Adding athleticism around him will only help too.

He's probably never going to be an above-average athlete, but he can improve, and with his touch and size, that could be enough.

He also looks like a guy who could shoot 75% from the FT stripe, which is nice to have in a big.

Agreed. We don't need him to be super athletic. Theres plenty of guys on the team (Henry, AJ, Frazier, Miller) who can help out. I'd just love for him to continue to add to his range. And yes, shooting well from the FT stripe would absolutely be a nice thing. I think he can do that too.

Oduro will never be a Toppin level athlete but he doesn't necessarily need to be. Plenty of the best bigs in recent A10 history weren't athletic standouts, they were just super skilled. TJ Cline, Peyton Aldridge, Grant Golden, Tyler Cavanaugh... (yes, I realize they're all white guys, save your jokes). Bigs who get buckets are hard to come by at this level.

Yes, and hopefully Malik Henry continues the tradition of an elite level rim protector that can play alongside him on the defensive side of the ball (but my only real huge concern for Oduro defensively is getting pulled out of the paint and having to play recover defense or being asked to switch onto anybody and guarding them for even 1.5 seconds).
