Don't we have any freelance architects who could draw up what it would look like if we added 4 suites per side (similar to Richmond Coliseum) on either side of the concourse entrances, which would probably not take away very many actual seats since those are more narrow rows anyway, then add at least one party deck in one of the corners where wheelchairs currently sit.

I assure you Disney on Ice likes suites they can sell too. Plus, I think we're overestimating the number of events that actually sellout. I think I've been to the Circus 4 years in a row, the Globetrotters and about 6 different Disney shows recently and not one of those events has been a complete sellout including Frozen last year (though I'm certain some of those shows sold out).

Now if only I had kids so I wouldn't appear so creepy at all these events with young children.

Those shows were so much better when Five Two was able to get discounted tickets. I still can't believe that greedy bastard decided to look out for his own family and take a better job.

Again, the simple fact of burritos or subs is not undoable in the sense of it, but given our specific situation and management it is. Also yes, Chipotle and subway is not coming to the patriot center any time soon.....it'll be more likely to be a one off like the Johnson Centers sub connection or something equivalent for burritos.....where I'm sure those are going to be poor quality as well and you'll complain about them.

I understand people eat at the games and it's easy for some situations. But expecting restaurant quality isn't really feasible, at the end of the day it's still an arena and that should temper expectations...food should be passable, which it seems it is. If you really want the best, go elsewhere to eat.

Chipotle is not hard to replicate. I can give you a recipe to cook a chipotle style burrito bowl at home.

Street tacos would go over really well I think: chicken, pulled pork or carne asada, cilantro, onions, soft corn tortilla and hot sauce. That's it. Simple ingredients.

I've got to think bbq, too, since you wouldn't be cooking that made to order anyway.

I can't see us building a new facility just for basketball in the near future. So perhaps, in addition to the main arena upgrades, adding onto the Patriot Center is the way to go. Might lose some parking spots but a practice gym, weight room, a legit club level for donors/alumni etc, would work. What's that 20k in new square footage? 5-10 million as opposed to 35-50 million for a whole new one.

A new arena would be closer to $80 million. Towson's arena cost $68 million.

I doubt we could build an addition to the Patriot Center with those kind of amenities for less than $25 million.

Last night proved once again how stale our gameday experience is. I feel as if I enter the game how I leave, depressed. Just another night, going through the motions, and nobody really caring. Doc Nix and the Green Machine playing some high energy music to a half empty, emotionless crowd.

As for food, if only Mean Gene's Burgers would move into the Patriot Center....

That dice game was meant to be a disaster. Our college bball team can barely make 4-6 free throws in 45 seconds, much less all game. And they want non-basketball playing kids to make 2-6 in under 45 seconds!!?? LOL. Riiiiiight
