Kier potentially out for the remainder of the season, according to Steve Goff (reinjured foot in practice)...

Need to play the lineup of XJ, Javon, Miller, AJ and calixte. All game. This really sucks for us. 7 1/2 players deep now.

Feel so bad for kier

This really sucks for Kier and our team. I'm sure Dave's initial instinct will be to play Mar for 20-plus minutes, but it might be time for him to give Douglas-Stanely another shot. I'm sure we'll be told he's not hitting shots in practice, but at some point we have to try to spread the minutes out with all of our scholarship players.

That’s too bad, not the way you want to finish your senior season. He could apply for a medical redshirt but given how far we are into the season I doubt he’d get it.

Given how many games he sat out to start the season maybe it’s an option, not sure.

God, that poor kid. He has worked his tail off his whole career and gotten better and better.

If there's a silver lining, it's that the team learned to play without him early in the season.

If there's a lead lining, it's that the last two senior classes have been decimated by injuries.

gosh darn. Probably my favorite player to watch since Coach L left.

Serious question for anyone more connected than I, how is our medical staff? This is the second player that we haven’t shut down when it was probably the better move and then had it end an entire season down the road. Boyd last year and Kier this year were clearly hurt but we let them go for it. But I understand that when guys want to play it’s probably hard to tell them no.

It’s the doctor’s job to protect these guys from themselves. Not casting aspersions on anyone, but this is becoming a disturbing trend.

Disturbing trend of all of our players being hurt in these “amazing practices”. Weird

I'm glad someone else here had the balls to post what I've been wondering the last two years. Whether it's not shutting them down or not giving them the proper care they need, you and Jim hit the nail on the head that this is becoming a disturbing trend.

Don’t forget Otis. The program never confirmed but it seemed pretty clear he wasn’t 100% most of last year, not just after vcu.
