I don't see the need to pick on Goanar for this game. Our worst player today was Kier. He started off the season really strong but has seen a decrease in form over the last few games. How about goanar? he's been super hot to start the season but today just didnt really fill out the stat sheet
oh no, definitely not picking on him at all! he just jumped out at me the most when I saw his (relatively) empty stat linesI don't see the need to pick on Goanar for this game. They can't figure out how much they should tip.Just going to say it, Why can't Paulsen have his team ready to pay at the tip?
DJ3 You have some of the most insightful comments that I have read on MasonHoops.com. This is interesting how Paulsen does not pay at the tipJust going to say it, Why can't Paulsen have his team ready to pay at the tip?
He looked like a new player to start the year, he’s back to last years form though. Just kind of eating minutes without costing us anything but not really contributing.I don't see the need to pick on Goanar for this game. Our worst player today was Kier. Despite poor roster development, you gotta love the fight these boys show, even if it is just for a half.

So he chose us over Iowa St, Nebraska, Xavier offers as well as hard looks from Minnesota and Wisconsin because he wanted to play against the minor leagues in college? This post isn't necessarily disrespectful but it is certainly stupid!Fwiw, this is the type of game that showed how we ended up with a player like Mar. In high school, he was a size / skill matchup problem. The schools he played against in the beginning of the season, he was a size / skill matchup problem. He may even be a size / skill matchup problem in the A10. Against the power 5 he's not a size / skill matchup problem (at this point).
Obviously he's a freshman, and obviously he'll develop, and I think when he's an upperclassman he'll be a size/skill matchup problem for ANYBODY, but the difference between the power 5 and the second-tier, is guys like Mar are contributors as freshman at our level, and don't contribute until they're upperclassmen at the power five level.
I don't think I'm being an anyway disrespectful to him or our program, or our level, but that's why you want a lineup full of upperclassmen that have spent three or four years developing.
