AMEN. I DO NOT CARE ABOUT BUCKNELL or WILLIAMS... I care about Mason... stop bringing up past success for why Paulsen is clearly not yet working here.

I guess my complaint with that statement is that Paulsen "clearly not yet working here" because I was pretty happy with how he was building the program until this year. Nobody will argue that this year so far has been a massive dumpster fire - partly because of the results, and partly because of some of the expectations that he put on this team/players (two year season, all A10 Reuter). We got better and better his first three years so I wouldn't say that things weren't working, but nobody can be happy how year 4 is going. The scary thing is we are on track to lose any momentum that was gradually building over the last three years.

I guess the question is how much time do you give him to fix it? Sounds like some think he's already out of time.

I could see that poor roster management and recruiting was gonna catch up to him. It has in the worst circumstances. Letting Newman walk, even allowing Monmouth to poach a walk on with a full ride tells me the staff is asleep. Wasting time on Dixon, Abrams, Murrell?? Could of had some decent junior shooters or big helping out this year. Then he takes a transfer that shows up outta shape. So no, I wasnt and am not, confident he is building it right.

IMHO, unless the bottom completely falls out this season, he deserves a fifth year.

Not that any of our opinions matter one iota. As long as Edwards and Cabrera like him, and trust me they do very much, the rest of us can go pound sand.

The fact that we don’t have anyone that can consistently hit a jump shot is mind-blowing. Fuc#ing Penn had a 6’10” guy from China that could do it, but we can’t find a guy between 6’2” and 6’8” in the DMV that can do it. Ahhhhhhh!

Agree with Gunnie's points. However, I don't think his time has run out, nor do I think we can claim a year 5 at this point.

Reality is this year's focus will be the same it has been every year - Conference play.

The ship can be righted or we get and extentsion of playing like today's 2-5 team. As a homer fan, I'm hoping for the best.

I’m just telling you, unless (God forbid) he has some major off-court issue, DP is not getting fired after this season. The administration is behind him 100%.
