JMPoo is a bad basketball team. This would be a bad loss for G Mas.

G Mas 72
JMU 73

Glad to be wrong. With the win, I believe that makes the all-time series 50-47 in favor of JMU. That being said, that is 22 of the last 24 for G Mas in the match-up going back to 2003-04 season.

Did anyone else love it when the camera zoomed in on Paulsen getting hyped and yelling while loosening and pulling down his tie? That would make an awesome GIF.

So you are saying that you would like to continuously watch Paulsen jumping around and beginning to take off his clothes on a loop? Not that there is anything wrong with that... ;)

For those of us who are relatively new to Mason basketball since the hiring of DP, what is the story behind JMU and the "hot dog game?" The announcer last night even referenced it at the end of the game.

a few years ago, the student section from JMU threw Hot Dogs onto the court to show their displeasure of a referee call. JMU was ahead in the game, got a technical foul at a critical juncture, and Mason went on to win the game it was a classic.

If you were at the game last night you know just how fast everything was happening, from Boyd's 3, to the foul on Mar to the JMU coach going absolutely nuts. The uniformed police walking toward the JMU bench, (yes there was at least one sheriff's officer headed that way, could have been unrelated) there was so much to try and pay attention too. And all the while the score kept moving. This will be one i remember for a very very long time.

Was it really displeasure at a referee call? Bowles was at the line shooting 2 when the hotdog went flying. I don't know if anyone knows or understands the motivation behind said hotdog toss.

It was pretty crazy watching from home as well. I had to tell my wife to keep the kids in the bath longer because the ending of the game was insane (it's my job to ensure PJs are put on and teeth are brushed after bath time).

Still an open question in my mind whether it was even a JMU fan who chucked the weiner.

I always figured it was Jollay.

Dumb question because someone would have already posted or linked, but is there any video of the end of this game?
