Wish I was able to watch that. Did we play poorly though or is jmu an improved team? I know we are young but I don't expect close games to bottom feeder caa teams

A lot of unforced turnovers and the ubiquitous open 3-ball that seems to haunt this team. Other than that, the team played pretty well.

At least in the CAA, we would have a chance to dance every year. Our fanbase has accepted being a bottom feeder in the A10. Going dancing and holding up trophies are just far far off distant memories. The goal around here use to be winning games in the NCAA but now the fans just accept being a bottom feeder.

Yeah what a bottom feeder Mason was last year in the A-10, Paulsen didn't get them to the NCAA tournament in two years so I guess he's trash. I hate that this fan base has so many dumb fans like you

They had a guard who could light it up from 3, and a big who was a pain underneath. Played it close and got lucky to pull off a miracle in the final 10 seconds on a play that looked like it wasnt' going to end well that triggered the comeback.

I was at Morgan St-GW tonight and missed our game. (Morgan St is no joke. they outplayed GW for 30 minutes and have already won at South Florida earlier this season. who would have guessed South Florida would get mentioned twice in our JMU thread......)

On the road and was unable to watch the game, so I'm just happy to hear we won. No games will or should be easy when you're dealing with a team with no seniors and only 8 scholarship players. Thank the basketball gods, take the W, and move on to the next game.

Probably about 30 mins. Grayer was out the last 5 minutes or so, he didn't go the full 40 after twisting an ankle.

I was at the game last night, that was by far the craziest last 7 seconds i have ever seen. From Ian's 3 and the foul on Mar under the basket, to the "foul" on JMU before their in bounds pass. unreal, essentially Mason scored 7 points in .9 seconds at one point. The look on DP's face when he grabbed his jacket off the chair at the end of the game was that of relief and disbelief. Oh and as for the JMU assistant coach who was being held back from going after the ref's it was a sight to behold, how he didnt get T'd up for that i dont know. A win is a win and this game showed a lot of character.

11.29 is the GMU Men's Basketball miracle date.

11.29 was the date Jalen Jenkins hit the 75-footer to beat Manhattan, and also the date that Mason goes on a 9-1 run in the final 7 seconds to beat JMU on the road to beat them by 4 points in regulation.

The Harrisonburg Miracle game is what I forever will call it. We had the hot dog game, the Dre Smith 10-10 3-pointer game, this one goes down in JMU rivalry game lore.
