With a much needed week of rest and films, it would be nice to have a good showing tonight.
As bad as JMU is, we could easily lose this game not because of talent or coaching, but just plain youth and short roster. Team needs to have the same motivation as if they are playing a top P5 school otherwise ...... yikes!
Seriously, I don't think there is any game this year we don't have a chance of losing (or winning for that matter).
I hear ya, but I'll give you a silver lining - we now get excited to play vcu, Dayton, URI, etc. instead of JMUThis game really makes me miss the CAAZone days, and the program in general before PH dismantled it. This does not feel ANYTHING like we're about to play JMU tonight! CAA 2004-2011 were great times in my life. Feeling nostalgic.

Absolutely but it's different. The Zone was a crazy, but wonderful place. I'm thrilled about where I believe DP has us heading. Last year would have been considered a successful year even under Coach L, we have exciting young players a la Hancock, veterans playing like seniors who still have a year of eligibility a la Campbell and Thomas, and much better competition to get hyped about. But we were a weird disfunctional CAA family that really solidified during the brief hey day of the conference and I do miss that sometimes.I hear ya, but I'll give you a silver lining - we now get excited to play vcu, Dayton, URI, etc. instead of JMU
Guy on the JMU boards claims he has seen us play 3 times this year and that GMAR will give them fits in the paint and that Otis can't shoot and that JMU will shut him down. Which team has he gone to three games to watch?!?! Typical lazy narrative of seeing a 6 foot 7 kid in the box scores and assuming he just makes layups and dunks
At least our managers won their game:
