As much as I was feeling great about yesterday's win, these stats scare me. We still are very young for the most part, both in terms of players and getting acclimated to Paulsen. Hopefully the guys continue to buy in hardcore and are getting rid of any remnants of bad habits.

We barely turned Ole Miss over too. They had 4 TOs the entire game. But we played solid defense and outrebounded them 44-29 (a lot of that had to do with Thompson, but Abram, Grayer and Moore all chipped in on the defensive glass -- I was particularly impressed with Abram and Moore's defense against Ole Miss. I hope they keep that up). It'll be important to limit second chance opportunities against OSU if we want to have a prayer.

edit: I also want to say that I think Jenkins had a pretty good defensive game too. And I know it didn't show up on the stat sheet, but he mostly played within himself and took some good shots that just didn't fall. I think he's coming around.

I wouldn't play Forte if I was the OSU coach either. This isn't a make or break game at this point and no sense rushing him back for an early season OOC tournament.
