Game 32: (A-10 Tournament, Brooklyn, NY), George Washington, Thursday, March 14th, 2:30 PM NBCSN

Starter
You know, I'm encouraged by Calixte. He's got feet for hands, but otherwise, he's not a bad player. If he develops even slightly below average hands, he can be a solid A10 big.

I like most of his game but his missed layups kill me

Scraping by thanks to Greene offensive rebound off a Otis FT miss and he makes both

Except that you said GW would likely win if they covered. Can’t predict it both ways and then say “I told you so!”.

Yes, my feeling was GW would cover and usually I’ll take that team to win as well. However, GW is so piss poor I just had to take the side only. Easy $ today.

Their mixed defenses gave us fits, so it's a huge relief to escape and advance. Goes without saying, we need to take our game up a notch tomorrow.

Positive take:

1. It’s always hard to beat any team three times in one year, especially when we just waxed GW at their own home less than a week ago.
2. First game in any tournament is upredictable
3. Hey when it’s one and done. Just win and hope you learn and play better the next day.

Negative take

1. It’s GW and having a terrible year
2. GWs best player was out
3. They played an overtime game yesterday and showed more energy than us.
4. Some amazingly difficult to believe rotation decisions by Paulsen. Mar? Now? Off an injury?

Anything is better than losing. Hoping to see a much better performance tomorrow.
