If we won - I wouldn't complain about the live stream. But now that we lost - to MSM of all teams - yeah - the starting and stopping was very annoying.

I feel horrible for Jenkins and Moore. They don't deserve to go out like this.

But if there is a silver lining I think we discovered Abraham is ready to ball.

And maybe we will stop subbing so many freshman moving forward

I'm going to have to put this loss and Towsons on Paulsen. Both had the same offensive strategy, attack the middle. Why is Paulsen so stuck on this 4 guard line up. I have to believe if we had another big in the game that little guard wouldn't have attacked the lane so easily and #5 wouldn't have had all those tip ins.

Also why can't we run a inside out offense through some of the game. We obviously can't shoot and the only way the guards can score is through slashing which is draining.

I'm a big Dave fan, but there is some truth to this comment. I know we missed FTs, had turnovers and didn't box out, but it would be refreshing to hear him once own his part in the post-game press conferences after a loss.

And I'm all for discipline, but how often have we seen guys either not play at all or disappear during games due to being in his doghouse the last two seasons? Unless Grayer was hurt, there was no excuse for him to sit out most of the second half and all of OT. Take him out, bitch at him for whatever he did wrong, and put his a** back in the game.

Well, this was another home letdown and it's on everyone, players and coach. I thought 14 - 17 would be achievable, now don't think so. 5 - 8 wins max. We don't have the players or the coach. Dave, seriously? How the hell do you not see the mismatch by having Marquise guard 0? Otis, who has been a disappointment to date, should have tried to guard 0 while Marquise should have taken 55. Free throw shooting? We can't make them to save our lives. What a discouraging HOME loss, yet another in a string of HOME losses. So tired of the same old song. We will be mired in mediocrity for years to come. Our seniors played their hearts out but that's about it. No confidence that the program is going in the right direction at this point. We lose with Jalen and Marquise leading the way. Imagine what we 'look like without them. That's next year folks.

It's ultimately his responsibility, obviously, but the only way this game is on the coach is if you can prove to me that our guys aren't required to spend an adequate amount of time practicing free throws.

Even with the missed layups and blown defensive assignments, all we had to do to win was make better than 50 percent on an unguarded 15-foot shot.

It's Dave's job to recruit the players, but he can't shoot the ball for them, too.

This ones on Paulsen, plain and simple. He seems to hold grudges. I can't fathom why Grayer wasn't in there. He subs waaaaay to frequently to start the game, then the last five mins of regulation and OT he rides the same five into the ground? Idk, seems elementary to me. And everyone around me at the game thought so as well. If the crowds seeing coaching mistakes, you know something's gone wrong.

The seniors carried the team and they aren't here next year. It is going to be a loooong two years. Even then with the players we have coming in I'm not sure how much better it's gonna get. We're gonna have to dump serious money into facilities to recruit.

First off-confession, I completely forgot about this game so I didn't watch the stream. In reading this, sounds like the stream and the game were pretty bad. I need to get these on my calendar so I don't miss them...

Jim-You are one of my favorite posters, but, we didn't buy this logic with Hewitt, why would we buy it for Paulsen. If one or two guys are shooting poorly, that is one thing. If the entire team is horrible, that is on the coach, whether he needs to double the number of free throws they practice or get a sports pyschologist.

If one or two guys are missing defensive assignments, that is one thing. If they all are, that is on the coach...

Your points arent necessarily wrong, but generally in OT at most levels coaches leave their five who finished regulation in.

I don't have a problem with the same 5 starting OT, but Abram and Kier looked absolutely gassed and should have come out at some point in that period. With a fresh Grayer on the bench I just don't get it.
