All this talk of inducement seems to be pure speculation by the posters talking about it. We have people already calling for laws based on speculation…Well, a, 35 states have anti/inducement laws on the books when it comes to NIL and b it was his reasoning in his judgment (yes, ensuring competitive balance is important but I see no harm…he made a judgment call not based on law at all).
That was stupid of him to even talk about consequences in that manner. There are always consequences. Whether they are good or bad is in the eye of the beholder.
