Like I said, the lack of shooters we can put on the floor cost us that game at the end. We had zero confidence drawing up any plays to get a shooter open on the perimeter.

I'm not sure how much Javon would have helped against this team. The guards we had in there (XJ, Hartwell, Miller) did a great job handling the pressure in the backcourt. Javon is very turnover prone, so maybe he gets us over the top, but maybe his turnovers are a net negative.

The point is, he can turn the ball over a lot (8 TOs against UMass for example), so whatever you get from him on the offensive side of the ball depends a lot on how much he turns it over on the other side.

I mean, would I rather have had Javon than Mar or JDS on the floor? Absolutely. Do we win because Javon is playing? Depends on what we ask him to do and how he handles the defense.
