Fordham watched the Loy Chi tape and saw that they needed to be very physical with Mason and they were all night. Mason got a few foul calls that were questionable to say the least and also gave up some that were questionable. Expected.

It was hard to tell from my angle, but I'm not sure why Billups didn't try to call a timeout. We had one remaining. Whether we get it awarded is questionable, but it would have been nice if he tried.

Maybe this is being picky but given it's the topic at hand, if you can't score and you are an offensive liability you better be able to rebound. I don't really even understand what happened...

Who else was in the paint with him that’s really the question you should be asking

No one was in the paint until right before the inbounds happens and I doubt lobbying the ball to their big over Kelly with 6 seconds left was going to result in a good shot anyway.

I’ve looked at this about 10 times now. Looks like Hall was guarding space, the pick happens and Billups switches off Rose and Hall doesn’t seem to notice and jumps to pick up the roll before realizing what just happened and by that point it was too late.

I’m not sure what was communicated in the timeout before the play happens but it certainly looks like a lack of communication between Billups and Hall regardless of what Skinn told them to do. Had Hall recognized the switch right away Rose probably doesn’t even get that pass.
