I don't believe any Final Four players were announced.

Nate Langley, one of my personal favorites, was on hand, as was Bernard Wanjara. I thought Ben currently lives in Africa. If he does then he came a LOOOONG way to be here.

Ben Wanjara is/was a good dude. Smart dude. Ripped too. I remember Langley for hitting that prayer against St. Francis (PA) for the win at Patriot Center and flipping off the crowd at Long Beach. I don't think, based on the brevity of his stay, that he ever saw the inside of a classroom.

Thats because Dave's an idiot.... oh yea.... things are amazing everywhere is probably his response to everything.

Herring, Tynes, and Allen Johnson were in the green room. I talked to Herring as he mentioned the attendance for players was not what he had seen in the past.

Jai was out of town. Folarin is playing ball overseas, Tony is coaching, Thomas may be playing ball somewhere (?). Lamar was probably in Maryland doing Lamar type things. Fleming usually comes but he didn't attend this year.

Not to mention, George Mason decided to drop a bomb on the students, limiting the number of people that could take up a parking spot, or reside in one space. They also banned alcohol in the homecoming lot, which turned off a lot of students. I'm so glad that we were able to beat a team that fired it's coach, lost majority of it's players and had late recruiting class by 7 points. The final four run has rubbed off, current Freshman were four-five years old when they made their run and 9-10 when they beat Villanova AKA the appeal of playing at Mason has decreased. You know things are bad when Josiah Freeman from Paul VI decided to sign his LOI for buffalo and didn't even give us a visit, would have been our highest rated recruit in quite some time.

What is this bomb to students you are talking about? Student turn out was great. GK went and represented us old guys well.

Students at HC used to fill the up overflow in the student areas, not the case this year. It was the worst attended HC game in decades

Lol the tailgate and the game are 2 different things. I'm pretty sure only 30% of the kids at the tailgate went to the game. The product sucks guys, time to come back down to earth.

I went and had a good time, briefly walked through the GK area and it was popping.

However I will say that a very large number of people I talked to (student or younger alumni) were turned off by the schools comments in the week leading up to the tailgate and decided to go elsewhere and that's a shame.

Even though the execution was just the same as the past, it could have been more widely attended had the school just not said anything at all.

Yes that is because the products sucks. The TCU game derailed all of the momentum we had going into A-10 play.

Compared to last night's Dayton game, the fans at the HC game were weak. Dayton brought a few more fans, many of whom wore red shirts. But there were moments when EBA was loud and raukus, especially when Mason was about to tie the score and take the lead — EBA rocked! My point is, when Mason is playing well, in the thick of the top of the conference, and playing games that are meaningful then the game-time atmosphere will improve. Count on it. Until then, apathetic home game attendance is what we're going to get.

Me and my section mates all commented on how loud this particular game was. Sounded like the old Patriot Center. I remember (vaguely) those days. Looking for good times like that again.
