Game 26: University of Richmond, Tuesday, February 14th, 7 PM, MASN

Except Mooney still has 5 years left on his contract at more than $1M per.

That deal is like an anvil around the neck of Richmond's program.
I don't know, I sort of like Mooney. I enjoy watching Richmond play. They play pretty basketball. When cline is on the court they whip that ball around. And it's not like they're a bad program, he's got them around the top of the A10.

He has made 2 NCAA tournaments in almost 12 seasons at UR.

Given what they spend on men's basketball, close but no cigar isn't good enough.

If Mason bumps Dave's salary to $1.3M and spends more than $20M on facilities, and he only makes 2 NCAAs in a 12-year span, I will be surprised and extremely disappointed.

Also, they are pretty but soft.

We outrebounded them 42-21 with a 6-7 center and four guards.

Zero toughness in that program. No thanks.

Otis's decision making has improved 1000% since the GW game. Big reason for the win streak. Before he was going into ill advised 2 on 1's or one on ones where he was a foot shorter. Last night he had a 2 on 1 coming down the right side with about 4 minutes left and he pulled up and reset the offense. The cheer the crowd gave him for that was nice to hear. Sometimes it's good to acknowledge things other than baskets or blocked shots.

Couldn't agree more. It was only one play, but it really showed how coachable Otis is as a player and how he strives to get better every time he steps on the floor. It's easy to forget that he is only a sophomore, and it really does make you wonder what the ceiling is for a kid so dedicated to making himself and his teammates the best they can be.

Remember how many of us worried about the loss Shevon and how we'd possibly fight to a push on the glass without him?

Or how worried we were when the team started 1-3, was down at the half to Lebanon Valley but still won by 20. Or whether Paulsen would adjust his defense to be able to have the team compete in the A10...
