Moore and Shevon both played in the G League. Maybe fringe is a bit of an overstatement. What nonsense are you dreaming up now?

Listen, Duncan is a nice guy. Very supportive and thoughtful with his comments. I like him. But being a big supporter of vcu *and* Mason basketball is the clearest evidence of pre-crime I've ever seen. It pains me to say this, but lock him up and throw away the key.
I am pissed Mason's season went down the tube. I dont blame Dave completely.
He's acquired some nice pieces but the playing rotation always suffers critical injuries for long stretches and mason suffers for it.
Kier, Otis, Mar...the list goes on and on over the last 3 years.
At some point, you have to look at the training staff's approach to conditioning and injury prevention.
I dont think the 12-1 start was a fluke but you have to keep players healthy.
As ken Beatrice used to say on Sports Call, there is 5% difference at most between teams in the nfl, the key is always health. Same holds true for most of the a10 teams.

"HISTORY vs. vcu
Wednesday’s game marks the 63rd all-time meeting between old CAA and current A-10 foes George Mason and vcu. Mason is 13-13 at home, 6-22 on the road and 1-7 on neutral courts vs. vcu (20-42 overall). The Rams have won 15 of the past 19 meetings and 11 of the 13 games in Atlantic 10 play. The last Patriot triumph came on February 18, 2018, when the Green & Gold claimed an 81-80 victory in Richmond after a last-second, buzzer-beating tip-in from current Mason senior Ian Boyd."
that writeup needs some editing, Mason has never played vcu in a neutral court...
(yes I know Richmond coliseum is neutral but it’s not to me)
Didn't we lose to them in New York a few seasons ago?
Oh-ho... you know it's bad when Pablo is taking swings. Keep up the good work!Do you want to update your prediction?

Someone mentioned an upset earlier....but....historically like past 10 years...haven't we beaten them when we least expected too?
That is a good point. In Paulsen's first year, Mason somehow hung with vcu and beat them at home. They pounded vcu inside with Shevon and Jalen and didn't let Melvin Johnson go off too much on them. I think that 5-13 in conference team that Paulsen had was actually more competitive at points than this team.
The wins in Richmond come few and far between though. 2 wins in the last 10 years, and usually they are blowouts. The Boyd tip in game was a miracle in itself.
bring some of that swagger onto the court and cover that spread, gents
