Kier's last two games - 5 and 5, 5 and 2, after a string of double doubles. Offense goes cold and defenses adjust when they realize you are the head, heart, and soul of the team. But a total of 7 rebounds in like 70 minutes of basketball doesn't sound right from a guy that was recently the second best rebounder in the league. And three games in a row with less than stellar free throw shooting from three of the best FT shooters in the country... This sucks.

Don’t get too far ahead. Lasalle has won 4 in a row and is coming Sunday. That won’t be a gimme but has became very important.

Lazy lazy lazy, piss poor defensive effort and way too careless with the basketball. Livingston and Kier are gassed, only reason I can think of for the dramatic drop off in play the last two to three games. Looks like finishing top four is slipping away. We won’t beat LaSalle playing like we did tonight.

We won't beat ANYONE playing like we did tonight! For 37 minutes Mason took only what UR would give them. To win consistently and be a top team, you have to TAKE what you WANT! There was no taking tonight and all but the last seven minutes it didn't appear that they wanted this game.

I'm pissed.

...on to a five or six game winning streak. Gotta have it now, very little room for error and lackadaisical play.

This game reminded me a lot of last years game in Fairfax. 10-8 and a top 4 seed on the line at home against a struggling Richmond and we just let them take a dump all over our home floor.

well living in Richmond I certainly was looking forward to this game. Left just shaking my head. They played with no emotion, like just going through the motions. Just a note, before the game Otis looked like he was having some right arm issues. The trainer was working his arm in all directions. For me it looked like Otis is worn out. He is forcing plays, over dribbling, bad passes. Wow, I feel bad for him. He has been an unbelievable player for us. Nobody knows but him. On a positive note Miller has got good BBall IQ, he seems to be in the right spot at the right time. Good omen for his future. Justin Kier is putting out the effort, but for whatever reason he is not getting it done. I think the missed free throws is eating on him.
Overall, just poor defense, lousy outside shooting or lack thereof. How can they be so good and now so bad. I guess its up to Paulson to figure it out.

Duquesne scored 49 points and lost at home to St Bona tonight. Not worried about them.

What's funny is that DP calls it out. He knows we can suck. And we can be good. He just cant figure out how to be consistently good. To much "oh these things happen", " nature of the beast" ..blah blah blah. Let's face it, our ceiling ain't that high.

Not meaning to be flip, but how can they be so good and now so bad? It’s called being human. It’s a long season and guys are beat up.

That said, we have to figure out how to keep our top 3 guards on the floor against La Salle. Kier was in foul trouble at vcu and Javon picked up 2 fouls in the first three minutes tonight. We’re a completely different team defensively when one of those guys is on the bench.
