When all is said and done we will have competed for about 6 minutes today. Hard to win when you play with no energy, turn the ball over, and don't defend well. LaSalle Sunday instantly becomes a very important game.

Down 7, we get a loose ball under the basket with a chance to cut it to 5. Instead, we lose the ball and they come down and get a basket. 4 point swing. ball game.

@Petey Buckets next time you and the guys are in a presser can you ask Paulsen his opinion on having his 5 most athletic players in at one time and if he thinks that is at all what any of the good programs do

Richmond might be better than their record but it doesn’t excuse the all around sloppy effort tonight. They played on their heels on defense and played like they expected shots to fall or Richmond to miss shots. Really inexcusable.

Once again the guard play was mostly invisible other than when Otis got hot. Reuter started well and disappeared. JDS looked like a freshman, and Greene Boyd and Kier were mostly not factors. The rotations on defense were slow. Miller was a bright spot but that’s not enough.

Next game is really important even though Lasalle has been terrible, they have been playing better lately. I’m glad there are no more games in Richmond Virginia this year.

Kier's last two games - 5 and 5, 5 and 2, after a string of double doubles. Offense goes cold and defenses adjust when they realize you are the head, heart, and soul of the team. But a total of 7 rebounds in like 70 minutes of basketball doesn't sound right from a guy that was recently the second best rebounder in the league. And three games in a row with less than stellar free throw shooting from three of the best FT shooters in the country... This sucks.

Except Ur wasnt really trying and Golden would have eaten AJ alive down low. We got stuffed by their zone and of coarse they hit the daily mason jackpot on three's.
