One other note, if you are a Mason fan and for some reason won't be able to attend the game do us all a favor and just eat the cost of the tickets. Please do not put them up for sale so vcu trolls can pack the house. Happened last year and I got stuck with vcu fans behind me and to my right.

I always get amused by vcu fans in Fairfax when their team is losing pointing out our mediocre attendance.

Like I give a f**k if I'm the only one there when vcu is losing.

I'd like to head on over to campus and try and get more Mason fans to go, but being an adult and a productive member of society I have this thing right now called a "full-time job" that is standing in the way.

I mean, I get it if you're a 35-year old grad of vcu working part-time at Starbucks and doing "interpretive art" on the side--you've got more time to hang out on campus and put on a pussy hat and attend pep rallies and whatever, but you know.

Mason Athletics posted on facebook that there will be a pre-game block party with beer, wine and food trucks from 11:30-1:30 before the vcu game, but there is no mention of it on www.gmu.edu, gomason.com, nor has there been any emails. Very curious promotion strategy for this event...

Who among us hasn't sat behind a morbidly obese vcu fan with a black shirt where the dandruff is all over his or her shoulders? With the black T-shirts their dead skin cells stand out like Pavarotti at a gym or their ex-band director at a straight bar.

God I was going to be at this game and bring my kid but honestly feel like I just can't afford to expose him to vcu fans at this stage of his development. I honestly would rather roll him in a blanket infested with SARS than have him sit anywhere near those f**king shit-eaters.

They're like sixth-grade kids in middle school bragging about the attendance award they got at the assembly on the last day of middle school. Then they wonder why they get the shit beat out of them in the back of the school bus.

No, I believe those are the seats at the top of 116 that are obstructed by the TV cameras and probably other stuff. I hope all the vcu fans end up there. I see the seats immediately behind the portal TVs just popped up on TicketMaster too.
