He made some plays, but that particular one was all O’Connor. He plays hard but has some boneheaded mistakes (not letting the ball go for a back court violation) and little self control.

Also - he should not be the trigger man on inbounding plays.
I’ll give you most of these things, but I don’t think he saw the Loyola Chicago guy touch the ball before it went to the backcourt. I’d have to rewatch to see exactly, but fortunately it didn’t matter other than giving extra chances.

Why do we keep doing this to ourselves?
Being a sports fan is a horrible way to live. And yet, year in and year out, season in and season out.......
Not sure... but we won, vcu wanted us to lose and we hold 1st place all alone. I am stressed and tired.. I will take the win, walk upstairs, as the wife for a happy ending and go to sleep.

When you play that bad offensively (and from the FT line) and still find a way to win, that’s the mark of an extraordinary defense on the level that I have never seen at Mason.

When we’re on offensively we dominate. When we’re not, we still find ways to win. You can’t be anything but happy about that. There are always things to improve on.

Great win!!

Maddox looked lethargic and lost on offense (1-9 from the floor, 4 points). He’s too talented and important to this team to be a no-show in such a crucial game. If he even had an average game, we would have won by double digits in regulation.

Nobody shot well from the field other than Haynes and Begg, so we were fortunate that KD and Billups made enough plays on both ends in OT to bail us out.

Well we beat Dayton twice on their home court and they didn’t lose a single game at home between those two losses…

Anything is possible.
I think Mason can do it, I'm just saying it won't be a walk in the park. That GW game is the litmus test..Castro continues to tear up the A10 inside..23 and 16 tonight

I think that’s what makes this team particular good. Every night it’s someone different.

Kinda reminds me of the 2011 team.

If you would have told me before the game that Mason would commit only 7 turnovers and barely win, I would've said you're crazy... Now let's push this giant ball of oil out the window.
