If I'm not mistaken, St. Bonaventure has a good broadcasting/communications program. I'm guessing both those guys are Bonaventure grads.

This was a critical road win. At the beginning of Conference play, Kenpom, Warren Nolan and Barttorvik projected Mason going 10-6 losing roads games to URI, Dayton, St. Bonny, SLU, vcu and Dusquene...we lost to URI but bucked the trend with Dayton and St. Bonny...now they all project Mason finishing 14-4.

I remember listening to that 2004 game while driving through Manassas for some reason. Bonnies had a terrible team in the wake of an academic scandal.

Always good to win on the road, especially against Bonaventure!

But let's not forget, we did it against a team that isn't very deep and was without two starters. One of those (Chance Moore) has been a Kenpom game mvp in 6 games this year and is 6th in the conference in defensive rebounding %. Clearly, we caught a bit of a break there and Schmidt only had 2 days to get his remade team ready. Fortunately, we took advantage of the opportunity, something that doesn't always happen.

Cooper Flagg just tweeted that he saw us beat the Bonnies and plans to transfer to GMU next season to play for Coach Skinn. This win is already paying dividends for recruiting! #1 in the A10 baby!

Anderson’s first shot was so wide open he could have grilled some steaks before shooting it. Seems to have woken him up because his second one was a quick release on an aggressive closeout. His last of the first half was an NBA three.

We need to get him a few easy shots a game I think and we will see a much different version of him.

I will say he does so much dirty work with screens in the half court for us that it’s good to see him getting some glory.

Good team win tonight. Defense very good again. 19-19 from FT line Is crazy after what we've seen all year. Anderson was hot on offense but he had 5 of our12 TO and his defense is below average compared to rest of team. I think Tony is using him correctly for offense and when we need D in comes Billups.
