We have pretty much the same amount of points with five minutes left tonight as we had at halftime against Richmond. That should sum it up pretty well for you.

GW played out of their minds. Lucky night for them. Bad game for us, time to move on to then next game.

We have another chance at the bitches later in the season at their place. Highly doubt we'll lose that one.

Paulsen has to shoulder a large amount of this one. If I know going into a game the other team shoots the three well then everyone on the court ought to as well. Can't count the number of uncontested threes we've let them hit.

Not the reading we're losing but these refs are divas. Clearly want to be center stage. They're making cross court calls left and right.

We are running a 5 guard lineup for most of the 2nd half. Every time they get the ball in the middle we have to collapse so hard open threes will be there for GW. The state of our big men is the real concern. Temera, Ravalo and Dixon better be feeling terrible about being so bad they can't find their way into the game.

Just another flat performance at home. Moore and Jenkins both picked up early fouls, and we dug ourselves a hole. Every time we made a little run, they countered with one of their own. The most telling stat is that the shot 11-19 from behind the arc, and we shot 1-8. That's a 30-point swing right there.

Bad nights like this are bound to happen with a young team, but this is an embarrassing home loss when we are trying to build a cross-town rivalry.

This game felt like a loss right from tip-off- same feeling as the St. Louis game where in the first few minutes nothing was falling, we were fouling, and the other team was draining 3's. It's nights like this why i am reminded of why I was afraid we would not win any games this year- we have no low-post presence, and we are not a great 3 point shooting team (I know our average isn't that bad comparatively, but we know we aren't that good at 3's).

The refs were also calling so many little fouls, makes it hard to enjoy the game. Our guys have to play smarter because way to many games have been changed by the refs. Jenkins has got to learn to stop fouling, or learn how to adapt to refs during a game. We cannot afford having him on the bench.

It wouldn't change the outcome of the game-- GW spanks us tonight regardless of the fouls. But the league has to be embarassed by the officiating. No way these two teams combined for 47 fouls. It ruins the entire game for the players and fans.

Total mismatch. Mason was totally exploited, No big men, just throw it low post, easy score.
DP has lost confidence in Temara, Revalo and Dixon. Easy to see why. He must bring in juco transfers next year with some height.

Paulsen's done a nice job thus far - but I could not agree with him more on that statement. Loss, win, loss, win, loss, win, loss so far - no streaks to speak of. Hopefully that continues at UMass.

Serious question because I have no idea, what's the etiquette/rules behind pulling a players scholarship? Like NCAA ball wise is it common? It seems like kind of a douche move in some respects but we're also draining roster spots on people who aren't freshmen who clearly will never see the floor.

St Louis at home beat UMass by 4.
