It's hard to fault Thompson for as much as he has carried us this year, but I guess he was due for a clunker eventually. Just doesn't seem like he has his legs on either end tonight.

Duquesne's Mason missed two threes in a row and was open for a third but his teammates wouldn't give him the ball. He just put his hands on his knees and leaned over in a give up pose in the corner.

Tough to sit him, though, when he is our best player and his primary backup was kicked off the team. Only other real option at the 5 is Porter, and he's really not ready for more than 10 minutes a game.

Well I figure if he just naturally has a bad night, Hewitt will just give him longer stretches on the bench knowing it is all futile.

With Pearson, he knew we still had a good shot to win even on off nights....

Yeah I laughed out loud on that one. I was going to post this too. THIS was the highlight of the half IMO, screw the crappy bball 'game' we are watching.
