Would also be nice for him to play (*and play well) back home in Georgia, but the way they're treating concussions these days, it wouldn't surprise me if he sat out again.

Concussions are tough to determine when a player comes back. Look at Sydney Crosby a couple years ago. Symptoms can linger for a very long time.

Joe, I think it's fairly common due to the noise and bright lights to not have concussed players on the bench during games. I recall Johnnie Williams not being on the sideline for several games when he went through the same situation a few years ago.

Agreed. I had a player in my class this semester who had a concussion and they weren't even allowed to come to class or look at a computer screen for a week-and-a-half.

I would be THRILLED with this record this year. Just don't see us getting to 10 wins.

I'm going the other way and saying that a lot of the performance we saw on Friday was first game jitters. I see some shots falling and us continuing to play solid D. If we can get rid of a few of the turnovers, I like our chances.

I'm not going as far to predict a win, but I do share your sunny sentiments. We will not shoot that poorly from the line, Thompson won't play as reluctantly, and Livingston and Grayer won't go a combined 0-8 from behind the arc. If we fix two or three of those areas, we should make this a competitive game.

I sit behind the bench and made the effort to look for him several times and never saw him. Since he was suspended for class related reasons, wouldn't be too surprised if he was told to go to study hall during the game.
