Hard to believe that we are 6-6 in Fairfax against GW.
Pretty sure we started like 3-20 against them overall or something ridiculous. We’ve done better against them since paulsen and since Lonergan left.

GW has had an odd season, strong start out of conference going 12-2 only losing to K-State and AU in OT. Then they lose their A-10 opener to Richmond, lose their best player (Buchanan Jr.) but beat Dayton and Rhode Island back to back. Buchanan returned this week but GW lost to Duquesne (Buchanan went 0-6).

Should be a win but we always seem to to struggle against GW, even when we are the better team. Hoping for a good crowd, that we come out as aggressive as we did against Dayton, and we impose our will from the start.
Not too different from Dayton - they had some signature wins and went into a losing streak. Plus we are at home. We should win this one.

I will be there!
Check this out...this is raified air for our program. Coach L was a great defensive coach but we were never Top 3 on 2 pt % defensively. CTS has taken our defensive effort to a whole new level. Hat tip to Tony and team.

Even more impressive that we have achieved this in the new NIL environment. We start 5 transfers! Money is everything in this new age, and we don't have unlimited coffers, but there is an advantage for staff's that can judiciously assess talent and potential. Ours seems quite capable in this regard. Really excited for where we go from here...

I'll follow this post up with this: if we didn't turn the ball over so much, or give up a high percentage of 3s, we would be a Top 20 team. An enviable position, since not a lot of programs in our position can make this claim. Still, this team seems special. Please take care of business tommow and win by 15.

My wife and I will be at EBA.

As the cheerleaders do their thing, you can count on me screaming, "For the love of god, if you want to earn the same salary as a man, please have some self respect and put some clothes on!!

Or, "Good luck earning the same amount as a man - for doing the same work - while you leap around in your underwear!"

I get it, but I don't get it.

Maybe you all would prefer that Bandito's go bankrupt like Brion's did? If they have room for opposing fans, isn't that our fans' fault? Can't blame them for trying to make money on gameday.
Mason supported Brion’s. Why should We support Bandito’s if they are rolling out the red carpet for GWU? Serious question Mr. Oriole. Why should We host a watch party or event there when they chose to host GWU just to make the almighty dollar?

Yeah, I went there before the UMass game. Pretty sparse card there through 1:15 when I headed over to the arena with my brother. I miss Brion's, but can't blame the place for taking the business. Granted, the bartender I spoke with didn't seem to be aware there was even a game when I walked in last week.

I hate to break it to you but Brion's definitely accepted business from visiting teams and fans.

I was sure the post about Brion’s never doing it was sarcasm - because they ALWAYS hosted away fans in the back.

At the time I was bitter, but never protested about it and restaurants, particularly at a non-draw location like UMall need to do everything they can to make money. Good for them - glad to have away fans funding the existence of one of the few pregame options for us.

If Mason fans dont like it, form a a social club and reserve the space yourselves.
