It was somewhat intentional (though I didn't actually think it would work).

I'd rather GMU have painful losses all season if that means Hewitt is gone. Pulling off wins against good conference rivals is the only way PH can hope to stay for another season. In the long-term interest of this program, I won't shed a tear if this team loses every game remaining this season. The words "blessing in disguise" come to mind.

And, look, a win at home, is something we need for the fans and the students. The more we keep losing, the more likely we will keep losing more and more fans and causing the students to be disinterested in the basketball team.

I don't want things to go back to how they were before I started at Mason.... Yes, blewitt needs to go but we could've used this win and a win for homecoming for our fans.

All Jenkins needed to do was make one of two FTs and we win. He airballed the second one. Total choke job.

Then Hewitt was screaming to foul before they could shoot a 3, but instead we let them shoot and of course Sullivan buries it to send it to OT.

We are definitely a poorly coached team, but we're pretty dumb and overall just not very clutch. That is not a winning combination.

When people argue about the basketball IQ of players......I then ask who signed all of them and created the group of misfits?

I can't blame PH for this, but I'm going to anyway. If our players have no mental toughness or high basketball IQ four years in a row, there's a coaching issue
