UMass was hyper aggressive with their defensive. A lot of high ball pressure, doubling, collapsing on then ball handler. And we didn’t do enough cutting to the basket to get easy looks. The times we did we got easy layups.

Can we stop complaining about winning ugly? This team has been on the road for almost a week, they're down two starters, and they somehow just managed to win their third conference road game.

Our defense is as good as it's been in eight years, Kier and Greene have improved exponentially, and we finally appear to be playing with some swagger on offense.

Granted, Otis has struggled this year, but he's still the heart and soul of this team. When (not if) he gets his mojo back, no team in this league will want a piece of us.
