Oh man. I laughed out loud. Thanks, Tom. I needed that one.Maybe we should use some of the Xout pimple cream they just advertised to get rid of the blemishes in our offense.
After seeing Lonergan having about the same record as Hewitt in 4 years, I began to have the "creep" of "they're just going to keep him one more year."
So I am right there with you now that no one at Mason really cares and we are doomed.
Winner winner.I have been watching basketball all day and the one thing that has really stuck out the most is that even mediocre teams make the "extra pass" to get someone an open jumper.
If that's the case, combined with the fact the women's team is doing well, how long will it be until women's attendance surpasses the men? I ask that knowing full well that will never happen. Right?
Playing hard is no use if you play stupid.Yea, they play hard....just in the wrong direction.
I almost went to the women's game the other night instead of coming home to watch the men play in Rochester. My couch won. I've been regretting it all week.If that's the case, combined with the fact the women's team is doing well, how long will it be until women's attendance surpasses the men? I ask that knowing full well that will never happen. Right?
So, after we took the lead 29-28 in the beginning of the second half, I decided to go get dinner at longhorn steakhouse after seeing those commercials. I should not have watched the recording. Little did I know that would be our only lead. I think, from now on, if we ever get a lead, I am going to turn the game off and pretend we won
According to Hewitt we always have part our gameplay going well but we can hardly put together a full game for 40 minutes.http://www.washingtonpost.com/sport...fd49ea-9dd6-11e4-a7ee-526210d665b4_story.html:
"Addressing whether the defeats are taking a toll on the team’s psyche, Hewitt said: 'You watch it, you check it, but I think our effort especially today was really good. I was concerned about effort in the first half of our last game [a 20-point loss at Saint Bonaventure], but we got back to doing what we do, playing hard.'”
How about playing smart, fundamentally sound basketball?
GW hasn't been blowing anyone out this year. Take those 13.5.
Hope some people took advantage of this.
Those that think Brad Edwards doesn't care about the basketball program are way off base. You'll see...in a couple of weeks you'll have to be saying "wow...the stupid kid from the field house was right." Wouldn't be the first time.....
Yes, you'll have totally nailed that one then. While the rest of us have been predicting an extension and new contract similar to the Ga Tech one, you'll have been the only one predicting the firing. You and you alone you insider you.

If Hewitt is fired this year, your season tickets for next year are on me. And I mean it, 100%.
Chank,
I really can't understand why you believe that Hewitt won't be fired this year. Frankly, I can't fathom that Hewitt won't be fired within a day of the Patriots losing in the A10 tourney if not sooner.
