kenpom projects Davidson winning 81-70. I think the spread might be bigger than that.

Davidson almost never turns the ball over, and Mason almost never forces turnovers. Davidson doesn't rebound a lot, but since they shoot so well, they don't really have opportunities to do so. Unfortunately, rebounding is one of the few things Mason does well. Maybe Mason can get some putbacks. Without those, Mason will struggle for points since they won't get many extra shots.

Venture to guess there's about a 3% chance we even keep this game within 6 points. We don't match up with Davidson very well. :blackeye:

In the not so distant past, losing to St. Bonnie's would be a travesty; now, we struggle to keep it within 20. Davidson is going to eat us alive. But I'm just taking this season as a practice for next year anyway. So as long as the young guys get good time, and continue to show flashes, I'll be content. We need to shoot better. Everyone is off.

Bonnies are a much better team this year-- not really fair to compare them with their past teams, just like it's not smart to judge us by how Mason played in, say, 2011...

I think we match up ok with these guys, but agreed that I don't see any road wins in our future. I think we play decent but don't have the firepower to stick around.

71-59 final.

The new walk on we got had 20 assist in a game his senior year, get him in the game!

We're also not winning any games if Abrams and Grayer struggle to shoot.

Yeah they've both been AWOL for a while. Might need to wait until our next homestand for that confidence to get replenished.

Not saying they aren't a good - I think they're really good; it's more an unfortunate comment on the state of the union.

Seems like we've said that about everyone we've played and everyone we will play this season lol

This is a fair point.

It's not saying much, but we are better than LaSalle and right there with SLU, Fordham and UMass.

Unfortunately, we get penalized by being in easily the hardest of the scheduling pods.

Having to play home-and-homes against vcu, GW, Richmond and Davidson is brutal -- probably good for 8 conference losses right there.

The sorry northern schools get wins from beating up on each other, so I won't be surprised if we are the 14 seed.

Meh - Just play hard and keep it respectable. Young team, on the road, with out a lot of depth.

Davidson 70
Mason 57
