Against better judgment I read a little bit of the vcu boards. Turns out you are all racists. Shame on you.

While it might make me a ginger hater, please tell me someone was able to capture the vcu crowd shot where there was a stoic giant red-headed guy just staring into space while everyone was going crazy around him. It made me chuckle. I'll also say that it appears many of the elderly folks who used to wear red sweaters at UR games have traded them in for yellow and black t-shirts as I was surprised by the number of aging Americans in the crowd.

What nobody likes to talk about is if the zebras called the game according to the rule book, he'd foul out every game in about 5 minutes.

Don't get me wrong. I wish that he got a mouth full of Marko's foot while he was sliding across the floor grabbing our rolling ball...

But if we are rolling the ball across the floor, that means we still think we have some sort of chance. Weber decimated that chance by playing the game to the end.... unlike what our team does most the time.

And no... I don't think that was awesome when he fouled PH the way he did. In that case, I wish he got a mouthfull of PH's foot, and his teeth taken out in the process.

Just to add... I think the refs needed a couple swift kicks to the face too.

Ive always found, if you dont like it...stop it. Other than that, shut the hell up.

I dont really want to hear about grown men (Pete Carroll) complaining about "whats your deal" when you get the score run up on you, or when college kids/fans get that attitude as well. If you dont like whats happening, do something about it. If there is still time on the clock, there is still a game to be played....if you are still trying, the other team should be too.

Angry twin! That's perfect Biggs, because sometimes I feel so frustrated watching Mason hoops, it's like having an out-of-body experience.

While they may be the best basketball program in the state, usually "flagship" state universities are the ones that high school seniors have as a "reach" school, not their safety school. Mason has moved out of the safety school category for quite a while now, but we'll never be a flagship as long as UVA and W&M remain in the system.

At the Green Turtle watch party, I noted to my wife that vcu is leading the country in steals. "Of course," she said, "they're from Richmond."

On a side note, there was quite the turnout at the Turtle, about 200 according to the waiter (although that seemed a bit high to me). We kept the place solvent for another month!
