Honestly, I was more impressed with Gio than Jalen. Jalen is big but doesn't seem very athletic or able to finish consistently.
Also, is it just me, or does he fall down a lot. A guy that big should be pretty well unfalldownable.

TBF, he was getting pulled down a lot. He’s big, but he’s not Juggernaut.

Being less athletic is fine if your positioning is really good. His positioning wasn’t super great at times last night.

The Mutts gone Nuts were also fantastic. I don't know what our record is in games where live animals are featured in the building, but it has to be almost perfect. A dog playing Double Dutch... incredible.

I’d like to see Jaylen play with a bit more force. On more than one occasion, I saw him set a pick but get rocked back by the defender… he should be more of a brick wall out there. He might be more of a finesse player than we realize.

I was hoping for a little more of a peak at what we can expect from the Marquette game. I'm guessing not starting KD at point was a disciplinary decision, but hopefully we'll have him in the starting lineup on Friday. We had 10 different lineups, one with no real point guard and then one with KD, Begg, and Brayden in at the same time.

I also thought we'd see some time with both Jalen and Gio on the court at the same time, since that was discussed at the Coach's Show. Granted we already outsized NCC, but I just thought we might see some of that in preparation for Friday's game.

I sit behind the bench. My crew and I in Section 101 noticed that when Jalen was on the bench he had a some sort of brace, warmer, or massager on his lower back. Hopefully, it's nothin'.

Yes, I noticed that too. I believe they keep a lower back warmer thing on the bench for players to use. I have seen it previously and like you said, hopefully its nothing.

He's coming into this season 20 pounds over normal playing weight at 265 pounds. You can see he's lost quickness from 2 years ago and he's not as wide
