For those of use stuck at home with the kids, how do we look? Not jsut "not hitting our shots", but do we look more fluid on offense? Are we getting good contests on defense? How do individual players seem to have progressed?

I'm at home too watching the live stream, not looking too impressive so far.

If Cornell is the worst of the IVY, then we moved the wrong way in our conference change.....

Dartmouth might be worse. But it's not like we're playing Harvard, Princeton, or Yale here.

And just to add some context, KENPOM projections project Cornell as the worst team in the IVY this year, and the 318th best team in the country. Darmouth is the next worst projection, at #239. So looks like Cornell is clearly the worst team in the IVY. This would be a terrible and season ending loss as far as at large bids were concerned.

Highlight of the first half is Holloway falling down when he was trying to run backward and stare down the Cornell bench at the same time.

no flow on offense, early shot clock jump shots, leaving 3 point shooters open and Copes picking up 2 fouls in about 4 minutes.

I'm watching and at this point I'm just accepting of the fact that, hey, if Hewitts style is take the open shot when you see it, maybe work the ball a bit if you dont, and play through the turonovers, then so be it. His style is a bit more up tempo than L's was, im finally over trying to expect the old style offense. Took me forever.

Ugh, this is terrible. Can't struggle with the #318 team in the country at home and have any faith for the rest of the schedule.

Its not even about coach style comparisons. Whatever Hewitt wants to run apparently requires NBA level talent to be moderately successful...otherwise it doesnt work.

Only thing I can come up with....

And Cornell is the worst of the IVY and......ugh yeah.....

LOL.

I thought I was being a bit dramatic with that Cornell comment until I looked at KenPom's projections. He is usually pretty accurate and he has them projected as by far the worst Ivy team. Whatever, don't have to believe me.

And our boys will trot into the locker room trailing one of the worst teams in the entire nation at home on opening night. Can't say this could have possibly went any worse.

No I do. It was more of the "well Tennessee is rebuilding" comment. Rebuilding or the worst of a lesser league....those are the teams you have to beat if you're any good.
